Switching careers to focus on real estate can be nerve-racking but you don’t have to leave all of your skills and experience behind. On today’s episode, we talk with Anita Corsini, a former math teacher turned real estate agent and designer and host of HGTV’s Flip or Flop Atlanta.
We discuss with her how she began in real estate and the growth her career has had since leaving her teaching job in 2007, how skill sets from one career can transfer to another, and how it’s truly important to understand yourself and identity outside of your career. We also delve into what it’s like working with your spouse and the mindset needed to take risks in real estate and in relationships.
