PPP loans are meant to infuse money into small businesses and there is still money left! On today’s episode, we talk with Stephanie Parris, founder of Guardian Accounting Services and our go-to guide for Paycheck Protection Program loans.

We dive right in with Stephanie and ask her all the questions we have about the PPP loan process and if it’s a good fit for real estate investors and business owners. We discuss how to apply for the loan, what the funds can be used for, and most importantly, how to track your spending to maximize the amount that is forgiven.  Before you call the bank to apply, be sure to listen to Stephanie’s tips for what documents you need in place and the steps to take to ensure a smooth process

Stephanie Parris brings twelve years of accounting experience to service her diverse clients’ business needs. She has experience in public accounting as well as the private sector in positions such as Controller at Habitat for Humanity. She has extensive knowledge of the non-profit, construction, real estate and service industries which she serves. In addition, she assists her clients with various consulting services, financials statement audit preparation, accounting cleanup, succession planning, best practices, and procedure documentation. Stephanie values client relationships and prides herself on providing timely service with tangible results. Stephanie has become known to her clients and colleagues as someone who is not only passionate about all things accounting and business, but as a solid relationship builder. Stephanie views her client’s business goals as those of her own, creating a unified client experience. Stephanie has her Masters’ Degree, in Accounting and Financial Management. She carries several certifications in QuickBooks, including Advanced ProAdvisor. If an oddity arises in QuickBooks, you will certainly find her digging in to solve for it.
